Dental bridges can be placed for patients with missing teeth when dentures or implants aren’t the right choice for their specific case. A false tooth (pontic) is anchored in place by abutment crowns on either side of the missing tooth.
Where implants are considered a permanent solution, dental bridges can last anywhere from five to fifteen years and can be a good alternative option if a patient’s specific dental circumstances, general health, or insurance coverage prohibits the possibility of implants.
Please contact the office if you are interested in or have any further questions regarding dental bridges.
