Upgrades and policy changes to keep us all safe

PPE that protects the doctor, staff, and patients:

  1. An N95 mask or better
  2. A face shield
  3. A surgical gown
  4. A head cover
  5. Gloves

Newly installed systems to protect doctor, staff, and patients:

  1. An air-scrubbing unit capable of completely filtering the room air at least every five minutes (or 12+ times per hour).
  2. Ultraviolet room sterilization between patients.
  3. If portable systems are used, the units are not moved from room to room unless completely sterilized between patients.
  4. Adequately designed sneeze guards or barriers.

What we are doing to specifically keep you (the patient) safe:

  1. Isolation curtains so that you are not exposed to aerosols from patients in adjacent rooms. 
  2. Doctor and assistant both wearing a fresh mask for EVERY patient.
  3. Doctor and assistant both wearing a fresh gown for EVERY patient.
  4. Doctor and assistant both wearing a fresh head cover for EVERY patient.
  5. Doctor and assistant both wearing a fresh pair of gloves for EVERY patient.
